Model CBF & CBR Landing Nipples provide for the location of various wireline flow control devices in the production string. They may be used in the following applications: Land blanking plugs to shut in well or test the production tubing; Land equalizing check valves, chokes, or safety valves to reduce surface flowing pressures; Land instrument hangers with geophysical such as pressure and temperature recorders.

Model CBF Landing Nipple is a top No-Go or selective seating nipple. Be sure to consider carefully the location and number of the CBF seating nipples to provide maximum versatility in the positioning of the various flow control accessories.

Model CBR Landing Nipple is a bottom No-Go seating nipple designed for use in single nipple installations or as the bottom nipple when placed with a series of CBF Landing Nipples. This is due to the restricted internal dimension (No-Go) machined into the bottom of the landing nipple. This restriction has smaller ID in comparison to the Seal Bore ID, and it catches tools & instrument dropping out of the tubing.
