CT-2 On/Off Tool — Left-Hand Release Tubing Disconnect

Model CT-2 On/Off Tool is typically a left-hand release, tubing disconnect device with an internal lock profile for securing flow control equipment. It is used in operations that require disconnect and re-engagement without disturbing the packer. The internal lock profile is used to retain flow control devices such as blanking plugs, check valves or chokes.

Model CT-2 On/Off Tool consists of two basic components, Overshot and Stinger. The Overshot connects to the tubing string. The Stinger connects to the packer.

The Overshot automatically jays up on Stinger when lowered into well. The Overshot has a wash over boot which helps center the Overshot and also cuts through debris. The Overshot disconnects from the Stinger with either standard Left-Hand release or optional Right-Hand release.

The Stinger has a compatible X internal profile as standard. Other profiles, such as XN, F, R, etc., are also available. Full drift or Solid Stingers are also available.
